"Austin Chambers"
Teller of bad jokes. Creator of relatable characters. ⬅️ And it's a Mk 38...😉
Navy veteran P.K. O'Dell, aka "Austin Chambers", spends his days concocting ways to drive his kids and grandkids crazy with new and untested “dad jokes.” He’s the author of three series which blend post-apocalyptic and military thriller genres, including Cascadia Fallen, Blades of Grass, and Echoes of the Just.
The former DOD Shipyard manager and his family live near the Hood Canal of Western Washington, but he not-so-secretly longs for the day his wife agrees to move somewhere with warmer, sunnier days. He did, after all, grow up in Austin! <Hook 'em Horns!> When he’s not pounding out words and learning the business side of being an author, he tends to the chickens; watches Combat Kitty kill mice, squirrels, and baby wild rabbits; and pretends to do chores 🤣
After Blades of Grass wraps up, he will begin to write mystery-thrillers under his real name. He grew up practically devouring every Hardy Boys book at least three times. He's not done with the Austin Chambers line of books—just taking a needed break to write the same action in a non-apocalyptic setting for a while.

Don't believe me?

This dude is Special
Vermin hunting extraordinaire "Kitty" is also our "dog." Abandoned, he adopted us. And I soon learned he knows how to comfort severe depression. He doesn't like other animals, and he's earned a vote by helping me on the darkest day of my life.
